Individual bass lessons
In order to raise you to the highest level according to your tastes and your aptitudes, we pass on to you the knowledge of the music, the instrument and the different styles ranging from blues-jazz, rock, slap, fusion, grids and improvisations.
Program by level
Beginner
You will be offered: reading the notes and their values, tablatures, exercises, studies and application pieces (The Beatles, Police, the Blues Brothers, Dire Straits, etc.)
Intermediate
You will learn about Groove on harmonic grids, scales, technique, Latin styles as well as repertoire pieces (Miles Davis, George Benson, Stevie Wonder, etc.)
Confirmed
You go to the next level with advanced technique, rhythmic scales, slap, improvisation and elaborate pieces by Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Alain Caron, Pascal Mulot, etc.
Final exam
Each year in June you can take the tests imposed in the
levels: Preparatory, Elementary, Brevet, Middle, Superior in order to obtain a diploma from the Music Confederation of France, whose tests take place in Paris.
What are these diplomas used for?

Correspondence courses
These courses are provided by the Institut de Paris only.
It is a personalized formula. After determining your level when registering, you will receive by mail: sheet music and USB key along with the program and methods to be obtained.
Each course in the program offers: exercises to be performed after deciphering with CD (including a rhythm) + 2 pieces of different styles per lesson: blues-jazz, rock, slap, fusion, grids and improvisations, to practice your knowledge obtained with the exercises.
Your progress is immediate: all difficulties are explained in audio and video.
You save your course as you return to the Francis Darizcuren Institute; upon receipt, the following course will be prepared and sent.
Final exam

Bass teacher training
You are an accomplished bass player and you too want to teach!
The Dariz Music Institute in Paris offers you the opportunity to do so under its aegis. For this, it is necessary to pass the diploma of end of study (DFE) issued by the Music Confederation of France, at the end of which a contract is established.
This contract will allow you to fully use the educational program of the Francis Darizcuren Institute. In the program of this training, everything is planned to make you a true teacher, able to pass on our profession to future generations of professionals.
The goal in the more or less short term is for you, or your institute, to be the reference for bassists in your region.
